i feel like you’re going to have to leave before then, since you left on the 22/23-ish last year :( BUT WE’LL STAY POSITIVE ABOUT IT!
so yeah, i was supposed to go to chinatown with my dad today to go lurk around my uncle’s office and see how they do things, basically get trained cus i found out i’d be working tuesdays and fridays (the days when my dad goes up there anyway for work - good news, cus i won’t have to waste 13$ for each bus ride AND i won’t have to live with the g-ma) BUT OF COURSE, THINGS NEVER WORK OUT AS PLANNED. because, oh yeah, the hong kong supermarket in chinatown CAUGHT FIRE LAST NIGHT. it was pretty fucked up, my dad was getting 3094093843 phone calls, all right before he was about to go to bed. it was on the news, and he was getting really stressed out :( i really hope everything is okay. the good news is that it started raining last night, so hopefully that helped. obviously, i didn’t go out there with him today, but i really, really hope the place isn’t completely ruined.
